Seventeen match races, one oldboy race, several football matches and a dozens of climbs to the top of a sports hall (OSiR), summarizes the first regatta day. Sun and wind were ordered in advance, like every year, so challenger races went smoothly and made for a great show.

This year preparations for the II edition of Karol Jabłoński Cup are already under way. Competitors are eagerly translating the Call Book, and the Board is dealing with last organizing issues. One thing is clear, this year we are bound to have an amazing show. According to unofficial information defenders of the last year title – Krzysiek and Mikołaj are already planning training sessions. Some of the top ranking sailors have already confirmed their participation, and this year world champions make it clear that this time they won't let the Cup leave Suwałki!

We did it... The first edition of the Karol Jabłoński Cup has come to the end. As an organizer I'm a bit unsatisfied since I had high hopes that the trophy would stay in Suwałki, especially as in the semifinal there were three crews from Suwałki and only one from Giżycko. However, after an exiting final and fight to the very end a clear winner emerged: the crew of Krzysztof Małecki i Mikołaj Mickiewicz from Giżycko (current world champions in the Cadet class).

The first round “everyone against everyone” is already behind us. Despite light wind conditions we managed to hold twelve races of the first round. As a result, four crews advanced to the next day round. Tomorrow the following crews will battle it out:
